Do you offer a free meet & greet?

Yes. A complimentary meet & greet is included before your first booking. This allows us to meet you and your pets, discuss routines, collect important information and ensure everyone is comfortable before care begins.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made with at least 48 hours’ notice will not incur a charge. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to amend or cancel a booking.

For bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service may apply. If your return home is delayed due to circumstances such as a flight cancellation, we will do our best to continue caring for your pet, subject to availability. Any additional visits or care required will be charged at our standard rates. Please contact us as soon as you become aware of any delay so that suitable arrangements can be made.

Are you insured?

Yes. +Paws holds specialist pet care insurance including £1,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, £100,000 Care, Custody & Control Cover, £100,000 Non-Negligence Cover and £10,000 Loss of Keys Cover. Insurance certificates are available to view during your meet & greet.

Are you PVG checked?

Yes. PVG documentation is available to view during your meet & greet appointment.


Are you undertaking Pet First Aid training?

Yes. The owner is currently undertaking a Level 3 Pet First Aid Course covering pet CPR, choking, bleeding, poisoning, seizures, wounds, shock and other common pet emergencies. We are committed to maintaining current training and knowledge to help keep your pets safe.

Do you provide updates while I am away?

Yes. Daily updates and photographs can be provided through our secure client portal, helping you stay connected with your pets while you are away.

What happens during a cat sitting visit?

Visits can include feeding, fresh water replenishment, litter tray cleaning, playtime, companionship, medication administration where required, welfare checks and basic home security checks.

Can you administer medication?

Yes. Please discuss your pet’s medication requirements during the meet & greet so we can ensure appropriate arrangements are in place.

Do you care for other pets?

Cats are our primary focus; however, we are happy to discuss care for fish and other small household pets. Please contact us with details of your pets, the care required and your postcode for a personalised quote.

How do I make a booking?

Bookings can be requested through our website, email or client portal. A meet & greet is required before your first booking.

How do I pay?

Payments can be made securely by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, payment link or bank transfer. Payment instructions will be provided when your booking is confirmed.

How are my keys kept secure?

Client security is extremely important to us. Key handling procedures are discussed during your meet & greet and all client information is treated confidentially.

What areas do you cover?

We currently serve Glasgow, Bearsden, Milngavie, Drymen, Killearn, Loch Lomond and surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether we cover your location, please get in touch with your postcode.

What if my pet becomes unwell while I am away?

Emergency veterinary information is collected before bookings begin. If we have concerns regarding your pet’s health, we will contact you immediately and seek veterinary assistance where necessary.

Who will visit my cat?

All visits are carried out personally by the owner of +Paws. We do not use subcontractors, ensuring your cat receives consistent, familiar care throughout your booking.

Can I book more than one visit per day?

Yes. Multiple daily visits can be arranged where required. Please discuss your pet’s needs during your meet & greet or contact us for a personalised quotation.

Will your vehicle be sign-written?

No. +Paws currently operates using an unmarked vehicle, helping to maintain your privacy and avoid drawing unnecessary attention to your property while you are away.
